The Catholic
Archdiocese of Boston is reviewing part of the case of Paul
Edwards, who last year claimed he was raped and abused by two
priests when he was a teenager. The case was dropped after
Edwards' credibility was challenged by defenders of one of the
priests and by media reports that portrayed Edwards as a serial
liar. But defenders of Edwards say he was the victim not only of
clergy sex abuse, but of a campaign to destroy him. As the
Archdiocese moves toward a settlement with hundreds of alleged
victims of sexual abuse, Edwards' story demonstrates how
difficult it can be to learn the truth about what really
happened. Hear
